Payment Policy

1. Payment Methods

Accepted Payment Methods

Users may pay for LAWDOC services using the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Electronic payment gateway
  • Credit or debit card
  • Other payment methods made available by LAWDOC from time to time

Payment Currency

  • Within Vietnam: VND
  • For international customers: USD or other currencies supported by the system

Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made in advance before using the service (prepaid).
  • The service will only be activated after the system confirms successful payment.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their payment information.
 

2. SERVICE FEES & PRICING STRUCTURE

2.1. Types of Fees

LAWDOC applies the following fee structure:

  • Subscription fees (monthly or annual plans)
  • Pay-per-use fees (e.g., trademark searches, additional monitoring services)
  • Legal service fees (where users engage lawyers or partner firms)

2.2. Pricing Adjustment

LAWDOC reserves the right to:

  • Adjust service pricing
  • Update subscription plans and pricing structures

However:

  • Changes will not apply retroactively to plans that have already been paid for.
  • Users will be notified within a reasonable period before any changes take effect.
 
 
 

3. REFUND POLICY

General Principle

Due to the nature of digital and AI-powered services:

  • Payments are non-refundable once the service has been activated or used.

Refund Eligibility

LAWDOC may consider refunds under the following circumstances:

  • A critical system failure that renders the service unavailable
  • Duplicate payments

Refund Processing

  • Refund requests will generally be processed within 7–15 business days.
  • Refunds will be made through the original payment method or another appropriate payment method.
 

4. SERVICE RENEWAL

4.1. Automatic Renewal

For subscription plans:

  • The system may automatically renew the subscription upon expiration.
  • Users will receive prior notification before renewal.

4.2. Manual Renewal

Users may:

  • Renew their subscription through their account at any time
  • Renew before the current subscription expires

4.3. Service Expiration

Upon expiration:

  • Certain features may become unavailable.
  • User data will remain stored for a specified retention period.
  • Access may be restored upon subscription renewal.
 
 
 

5. PLAN UPGRADES & DOWNGRADES

Plan Upgrades

Users may upgrade their subscription:

  • At any time.

The following principles apply:

  • The unused portion of the current subscription fee will be credited toward the upgraded plan.
  • Users are required to pay only the price difference.

Plan Downgrades

  • Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle.
  • No refund will be provided for fees already paid.
 

6. SERVICE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

LAWDOC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of the Terms of Use
  • Payment fraud
  • Use of the service for unauthorized or improper purposes
 
 
 

7. LEGAL SERVICES

Separation of Services

  • AI services provided by LAWDOC and legal services are separate offerings.
  • Legal service fees are not included in LAWDOC subscription fees.
  • Where a subscription plan includes a specified number of lawyer consultations, such entitlement is subject to the prior agreement between LAWDOC and the participating lawyer.

Payment for Legal Services

  • Payment for legal services shall be made directly between the client and the law firm.
  • Legal service fees are subject to a separate quotation.
